Resistance Welding is a method
of joining two pieces of metal without the use of a filler alloy. Instead, a current is passed through localised points of the metals under pressure, so that the heat caused by the electrical resistance at the point of impact fuses the parent metals together. This is a very clean and simple method for joining metals, used for many years in vehicle manufacture, radiator manufacture, structural steel, cabinet manufacture and many other applications.
